Excellent question! Here at Lincoln Pet Parlor we strive to provide the best and safest groom we possibly can. We understand that it can be hard to find a groomer to fit your needs. We try to be the best choice on factors such as skill, integrity, availability, and communication. We hope that our efforts make us the right fit for you and your furry family member!

Why is grooming so expensive?

At Lincoln Pet Parlor we have made the conscious choice to charge more for individual dogs, and take fewer dogs per groomer on any given day. Many other salons will try to do as many as 10 dogs per groomer per day in order to maximize profits. We have taken a different route and only take 6 dogs per groomer per day. This sacrifice of profits provides our groomers with opportunities to take their time, be safe, and make sure every dog that comes across their table is given the attention and care that they need.

How long should i expect my appointment to take?

For most appointments, we expect our services to take between 2 and 4 hours, but it is tough to give an accurate estimate without having specifics about the services, and the dog’s temperament. For your dogs first time here, we prefer to take things slow and work at the pace that is comfortable for the dog, but still get them home at a reasonable time.

should I wait for my dog to be finished?

No. The grooming process takes at least two hours for small dogs that are familiar with our facility and who trust us to groom them. As much as we love our customers, there are lots of better ways to spend your time than hanging out in our lobby.
